They were the same and yet she couldn’t get pass this now visible wall between them. No matter how much she tried, it did not falter, it grew stronger.
“Please!” she yelled. She punched the now solid wall between them. “Please! Please! Please!” she begged. “Please…” she pleaded.
She didn’t hear any of them. She just stared into blankness. Stared, stared, stared… She didn’t say “I can’t.” She didn’t scream “What is the point?!”. She just stared,stared, stared.
