A boy in a bubble, so fragile and small, In a world of his own, isolated from all. With walls made of air, he's protected and safe, But he longs to break free, to escape and to play. His bubble is his shield, his fortress and home, But it's also his prison, where he's always alone. He dreams of the world outside, of the sun and the sky, Of the warmth of a hug, of the feeling of being alive. He watches from inside, as others pass by, Laughing and playing, with tears in his eyes. He yearns to join in, to be part of the fun, To feel the grass underfoot, to soak up the sun. But his bubble holds him back, it keeps him apart, It shields him from harm, but it also breaks his heart. He longs to be free, to break through the walls, To take a deep breath, to answer nature's call. Yet, still he stays in his bubble, so fragile and thin, Afraid of the world, afraid of being hurt again But the world is waiting, with open arms and love, To welcome the boy in the bubble, and set him free to soar above.
